• Hulu + Live TV (No Ads): Combines full live TV access with reduced on-demand ads. Note that live TV itself always includes commercials — only the on-demand library benefits from the ad-free tier.

The Disney Bundle pairs Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for a single monthly price. If you use any two of those three services regularly, the bundle almost always costs less than subscribing to each separately.

If you only want to follow specific series that air on Hulu, start with the basic With Ads plan. If you are replacing a cable subscription entirely, Hulu + Live TV is the closest functional equivalent, covering sports, local news, and live events.

How to Sign Up for Hulu

Creating a Hulu account takes under five minutes. Go to hulu.com and follow these steps:

1. Click Get Hulu or Start Your Free Trial on the homepage.
2. Select your plan from the options displayed. Pricing and trial availability are shown on the plan selection screen.
3. Enter your email address and create a password. Use a real email address — Hulu sends your receipt, billing alerts, and password-reset links here.
4. Enter payment details. Hulu accepts major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Hulu gift cards. A valid payment method is required even during free trials.
5. Click Submit to finalize your account. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.

If you sign up through a third-party platform — Amazon Prime Video Channels, Apple TV Channels, or Roku — your billing is handled entirely by that platform. You manage your subscription through that platform's account settings, not through hulu.com/account. Your Hulu credentials still work in the Hulu app, but cancellations and plan changes must go through the platform where you subscribed.

Gaming console apps update automatically when connected to the internet and set to auto-update.
